i don't know why i even bother to pretend, maybe it's just something i had to do. i don't know why i smile, when actually i felt like screaming & hitting you. i don't know why i go all, "hi" when i feel like slapping your smug face. i don't know why i apologise, when all i felt was to go, it's your own fault, your own mistake. i don't know why i even pretend to be your goddamnnn friend when i just want to be your enemy. i don't know why i pick you up when you fell when all i wanted to do was to kick you harder and leave you there. i don't even know why i'm pretending & faking. maybe 'cause this is just the way life is. maybe 'cause other than you, i don't have anyone close to help me smile, even if it's fake.
