The feeling of being loved is wonderful.
I used to shake them off, but now I'm yearning them back.

The world just ain't kind no more. I remember when I was young I used to believe maybe charities will be well-off but in the end, yess they are doing okay but because tycoons donate money to maintain a good public image. I used to tell myself that when I grow up and earn lotsa money, I would donate half of that to good cause, like helping people in the native parts of the world to have a good life.
Why are those baddies getting away, I don't get it. Isn't the world supposed to be justice and fair, isn't everyone supposed to be kind-hearted. I thought those awe speeches made by important people were to bring out the angel and kill the devil in people. The world is getting hard to comprehense, the world is filled with such immense jealousy and competition that I feel myself drowning in it. The only saints you see are in soap dramas these days. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but if you're a superhero, would you save the world because it's the right thing to do, or because of the thrill of being a superhero.
I used to believe if one was pure, he/she would be fortunate. I used to believe from those cartoon series that an alien from Mars will come knocking on my door and take me to tour Mars. I've always thought that Jupiter was purple, too. But now I know that there is only one sun instead of two.
I guess maybe I'm not that idealistic anymore, or maybe it's because I've simply given up on this selfish world.

I picked up those torn shredded pieces of papers with sweaty palms. I knew what was written inside, I knew it was true, but I didn't want them to know. I've hid it for the past few years, and now the cat's out the bag - everyone've come to know.
I opened the first note: Hey you orphan, aww I pity you, no parents eh.
I heard sniggers over my shoulder and blinked back furious tears, while my fringe drooping down my face for cover. Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry. I clenched my fist to resist the temptation to strike a blow. I held the other notes firmly in my hand and tossed them into my bag with a degree of dignity. I smiled a wide broad grin that hurt my cheek muscles, picked up my books and told them, "I'll read them when I get home. Really, you guys got it all wrong."
I flipped my fringe back, and grasped my books tighter till the marks of my nails were imprinted on the covers. With the nonchalant smile stiffly plastered across my face, I stalked out of school and into the quiet alley where I stay.

It seems like I'm posting almost every day.
I've noticed that I've established a routine for this holiday.
Yesss, all by myself okay.
& I'm loving the routine.
Here it is :
from the moment i wake up till lunch time : TV! ooh lovely tv.
after lunch till shower time : computerr [:
after shower : tv (for one hour)
after tv : dinner time
after dinner : tv !

tadaaa!
My famous routinee.
HEH HEH looks like i spend a lot of time on watching tv.
TV IS A MUCH MORE BETTER ENTERTAINMENT THAN INTERNET yess.
That is if the internet has some really goood interesting topics [: & gossips, i might add.

Yep yepp because it's SIMPLE like I've always wanted.
Although the pictures @ the side looks weird when you scroll down but nevertheless this is a good skin (:

Hmm well should I talk about Hongkong again.
Ok i should just go about in point form [:

• The stuff that I bought:
  - Puma Skirt
  - Purple Adidas Shoulder Bag! [:
  - Roxy Pencilbox
  - HongKong Tee Shirts
  - Mickey Mouse pens from Hongkong disneyland
  - Cute little penguin from Ocean Park
  - Heart Shaped Dangling Earrings (for natalie)! [:
  - Skechers Slip-on Shoe
  - ohman I forgot :x OK maybe some random things & etc.
  
• Ocean Park: I never thought PANDAs were soooo adorablee [: I love them lol! haha ok so anyway I saw dolphins! Performing stunts. It was...quite disappointing, I might add. ANYWAY that's ok I enjoyed somewhat of it. HAHA then there was this mine train. Me & my big mouth. I went, "Hey let's try this. It doesn't look that scary on the map." BUT WHEN I SAW IT IT WAS... WOAH MONSTEROUS! Scary? Nope. ULTRAA SCARYY. And only adults sat it. So i went, "Err... I think I don't want to ride anymore." BUT MY BROTHER WANTEDDD!!! And he's only like 2 cm taller than the required height. HE WAS THE YOUNGEST THEREE. I don't know why, but I was crying and crying because I WAS AFRAID THAT MY BROTHER would chu shi D: so i was praying to God & everything yep. My mum was praying with me, too. And I kept on telling my brother to back out, but he didn't want to. When it was going to my brother's & dad's turn, my dad asked my brother, "You scared a not? Still want to go?" Brother, "No not scared. I still want to go." But when my dad felt my brother's heartbeat, it was palpitating at an alarming rate.
  My brother is brave.
  And when he came out, he was like, all smiles and laughter when I took his picture.
  
• HONGKONG IS FAMOUS FOR THEIR ROAST DUCKK [:
  Lol I know sorry I'm a person who LOVES food. Speaking of that I need to ask my mum to buy more chocolates.
  
• There was the Symphony of Lights. Oh right before that we went to eat a HKD $1000 (S$ 200) dinner. At one of the top 100 restaurants in Asia. OH WOW .__. ok anyway the symphony of lights was kinda cool. Each skyline have different ways of lighting up and displaying colours so yeepp interesting! And then later we walked 3KM to get to our hotel. At the top 100 restaurant (which i unfortunately forgot the name) my dad gave a HKD $100 (S$20) tip to the waitress that took really good care of us, serious I'm not exaggerating.
  So, my mum was saying all the way through the 3km walk, "I do not believe this. Your daddy can give $20 to a waitress and save $4 on taxi fare."
  You know, i think I need to start exercising. I'M TOO WEAK ALREADY D: I can't even walk 3km whatthehelllll.
  
• And then we went to the PEAKK!! Up there you can see the whole hongkongisland and other islands in hongkong [: the view is breathtaking reallyy. AND I WANT TO LIVE IN THAT COTTAGEE! At the mountains. It's so... comfy i think. ANYWAY IT'S LIKE AT THE MOUNTAINTOP I WANT IT HAHA.
  We took the peaktram down. THE PEAK TRAM WAS SCARY. We had no seats and so we had to stand. (Fyi that peak tram was built like 80 years ago.) Yeah so it's old & jerky &...well use your imagination! And y'know when it goes down the slope it's almost 90degrees :O :O yesss.
  
• After the peak we went to the MADAME TUSSAUDS MUSEUM! It's a museum which has the wax figures of all the famous people. It's just down the escalator from the peak [: yeep yepp. IT ROCKS OK! I took pictures with Lee Kuan Yew, David Beckham, this super shuai hongkong actor (which i forgot the name), Albert Einstein & etc. If you guys want I can upload the pictures. OH LEEKUANYEW'S WAX FIGURE LOOKED SOO LIKE HIM OK! It's the best wax figure lah. He looked pretty serious in his wax figure. BUT I WANT TO GO THE LONDON'S WAX MUSEUMM! It has the JONAS BROTHERS & MILEY CYRUS there! (I heard this from elizabeth :D) OMG I WANT TO GO TAKE PITURES WITH JOE JONAS!!! :DD HAHA I shall ask my mum to bring me there next year.
  
• OK erhmm... OH I went to eat dinner with my dad's friend, Uncle Nathan. He lives in hongkong yep. And I ate roasted duck again, third time in hk .___. haha sian liao. Because I was away when the PSLE results came out, i didn't know. SO WHEN HE TOLD MY DAD HOW MUCH HIS DAUGHTER GOT FOR PSLE I WENT LIKE, "What, psle results out liao." HAHA yeees. And my Pri 6 junior - valerie kwok - GOT 267/269 + 2. ALL A STARS OMGGG!!! OK. I know to you guys it's like no big deal but for a laoyaporkpork person like me it's like WOAHHH! HAHA so like CONGRATULATIONS VALERIEE [: & she's coming to nanyang girls whoopeee :D hahaha! I hope I can take her class! And then we shopped A LOT at that shopping mall! BECAUSE THAT SHOPPING MALL HAS TEENAGE STUFF :DDDDD

HAHA ok I think that's all bahh.

I shall talk about my AIRPLANEE.
United Airlines suck.
Sorry to say that but yeah they doo.
They don't have personal tvs!!! D:
Lucky the ride's only 3 hours.
Or not i would be dead.
& the food sucks really I didn't try but the look of it already pukes me.
And and when we came back, OUR BAGGAGE WAS DELAYEDDD!
We waited an hour k. Stupid airline, make me reach home @ 2.30am.
My mum was like saying never to take UA again & she was saying that now she know how lucky she was to have always been taking SA (Singapore Airlines).

OK so anyway back to disneyland!
I'VE GOT A DRIVING LICENSE!
WHOOPPEE i drove a car lol.
A HONDA car at that.
HAHA & my dad was driving behind me (with my brother) and he said I drive with stylee.
HAHAHA yees I love driving omg driving rocks :D
yeesh I can't wait to turn eighteeen but then again maybe maybee they might might change the legal age to drive to...16!
Then I'll start learning @ 15 hahaha.

And my mum was sitting beside me, going, "Woah very shiok sit here. Get to see beautiful scenery and enjoy the cool breeze while you whiz past."
HAHAHA. I'm such an awesome driver i know thankyouu.
I also sit this flying jumbo elephant thingg.
BECAUSE MY BROTHER WANTED TO.
and it moved at... quite a slow speed HAHA.
BUT I LOVE PULLING THAT LEVERR!
I kept on pulling up and down and up and down and my poor elephant and poor mum were like 1 second at the sky the other second on the ground wheee.

OOH I LOVE THE FIREWORKS! (:
It's spectacular, breathtaking and really the lights are magical.
It was...beautiful.
The colours mixed and matched beautifully, with "A Whole New World" playing in the background.
The fireworks never stopped, it displayed colours and colours of affection for disneyland.
I LOVE THE FIREWORDS :DD
and i was watching with awe, exactly like the 3 year old beside me.
ANYWAY I LOVE A WHOLE NEW WORLD!!
A whole new world...
a dazzling place i never knew...
but when i'm way up here, it's crystal clear,
& now i've spent a whole new world with youu... (:

I also took loads of pictures!
and stoopid mickey & minnie mouse.
I QUEUED UP TWO DAYS JUST TO TAKE A PICTURE WITH THEM .___.
the rest also take a loong time to queue.
HAHA but thank God it's weekday (:
and it was the exam period for most students.
(no wonder I only saw babies & toddlers & elderly people)
OH i shopped a lot at disneyland LOL.
my dad bought this mickeymouse shirt and my mum went like,
"So old still buy mickeymouse."
I was walking round the whole shop and picking up countless soft toys & asking my dad to buy.
He went like, "If you were Primary 1 i would."
So I bought pens and etc.
BUT MY BROTHER GOT TO BUY SOFTTOYS D:
when he's pri 4.
Life is so unfairr i tell you.

I'm back.

Haha ok anyway I know you guys expect a whole essay about my holiday in hongkong, maybe you might even want a novel about it.
But sorry to disappoint, I'M TIRED TODAY D:
In other words, I cannot grant you guys your wishes by writing essays / novels about my holiday today.
I promise, I'll give it to you... hmm idk when. But sometime this week.
Mmhm, so in short, HONGKONG IS... AWESOMEE! :DD
AHEM AHEM! Wait wait, I haven't finishh!
With the EXCEPTION of dirty toilets, the no. of people who smoke, the street markets, the hotel that is situated in those busy typical hongkong streets, the typical hongkong streets (smelly & dirty) and and the PRICEE OF DESIGNER OUTFITS!
Really. Everything that you buy is like, ranging from min: HKD$300 (S$60) to HKD$5000 (S$1000) & above.
& I THOUGHT they sell not so expensive stuff.
HEH. Naive me.

BUT BUT BUT.
HONGKONG'S SHOPPING MALLS ROCKS!
definitely lose to singapore like puh-lease.
One narrow street can have, 5/6 bigg shopping malls.
& I LOVE IFC!!!
It's where all the designer outlets are, and mind you, they are so freaking expensive.
I only bought like, a skirt there .__.
But I love going into those shops and look @ something that you know you can't afford to buy, and then picture yourself in that outfit, sigh and put it back on the racks.
In hongkong's shopping malls, @ every corner you turn, you see shops & shops & more shops!
All the brands that you see in hotshot magazines are RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES.
And it's not just a small simple shop.
IT'S HUMONGOUS, I TELL YOU.
The bags, wallets, sunglasses, outfits and etc are neatly stylishly displayed on the racks, with countless spotlights shining on them, bringing out the best.
The shop assistants all smile & wave at you as you come in, & even if you don't buy anything, they still say goodbye with a genuine smile.
(Not like singapore - with smiles stiffly plastered across their faces)
(Or worse, lian chou chou one)
OK SORRY SINGAPORE!
I still love you, nonetheless.
And I guess the reason why the shopping malls are so spectacular is 'cos well, hongkong people are super FASHION CONCIOUS!
They scrimp & save for months just to buy a branded designer winter jacket.
But the bad thing about hongkong shopping malls are that THEY ONLY HAVE TOILETS @ ONE / TWO LEVEL(S) when the shopping mall has like, 5 storeys?
So that means you have to queue really long to go pee & you have to go up to that specific floor just to take a wee wee.
Singapore still rocks, in terms of convenience. (: They have like, 2 toilets on each floor. :D

I know you want to know much more, but i'll tell you more of them day by day.
Or MAYBE all in one day.

4 days and 1 night to HONGKONG!

WHOOOPEEE! :D
I've been waiting such a long time for hongkong lol.
Every other holiday I go to places like Egypt, Rome, New Zealand, Switzerland, Germany, Korea, Vietnam, Bintan, Bali, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Australia etc and I've never been to a country that I actually want to go to.
AND FINALLY! HONGKONGG :DDD!
My parents finally relent and let me choose a vacation by MYSELF! (:

Hongkong's shopping outlets are so omfg in style & cheap!

Robinsons is boring. (Maybe that's because I always go there .___. But it's boring really. Same designs @ every corner.)
My tuition teacher goes to hong kong so often and she's going to tell me all the shops that I should go! :D
It's like there's this big big factory outlet, where when it's winter, they'll sell the autumn clothes and you can buy them really cheaply because they've changed season and they are clearing stock! :DD

yes, i shall bold "cannot" in RED, because RED is bloody & it symbolises EVIL.
ok hahhaa no not really i'm just kidding.
ANYWAY! back to copycat business.
I'm a really super kind and forgiving person, so I do not mind if you simply copy a sentence, or a quote from me.
Because I take that as you love and enjoy MY quotes, and you want to have a few of my wonderful sentences.
So, you ask me, what's going overboard?
I TELL YOU WHAT'S THE LAST STRAW.
That's when you copy a whole chunk & call it "your own".
That's when you put the whole bloody shit thing, and put a big "C" with a circle over it and call it "copyrighted".
That's when you use all the original words and special exclamations that I use, and show the world that it's YOURS, when it's ohsobloodyhell MINE.
That's when you rip of ideas from ME, and elaborate on it like you're the original creator, taking all the credit when it's mine mine mineeeee!
That's also, when you copy bits & pieces of my personality and hey man dudee you flaunt your million dollar smile with MY personality underneath and showcase it like it's fcuking yours.

YESTERDAY I WENT TO BUY SCHOOL BOOKS!
I WAS DRENCHED! ):
My feet were soaking wet, my hair was dripping droplets of rain and I looked like a wreck.
But then again, being in the rain is a wonderful thing.

I love the rain, nonetheless.
I love it when it splashes down your hand and the drops trickle down your face.
It gives this cooling tingling sensation that runs down your spine, it makes you feel fresh.
And you can always do your crying in the rain.
Your hair feels heavy, your shoes make squeaky sounds as you plod through puddles of water.
Being in the rain just gives me this super duper x 1234567890 wonderful blissful feeling.

Then later I went to meet up with Minggy, Jialing and Jasmine for OM.
Before that I saw qianyi and she was like, "WHY NEVER INVITE MEE?!?!?!"
HAHAH then i told it was for OM and she went something like, "CHEYY."
OK so anyway DISCUSSING ABOUT OM IS FUN :D
but it's... tiring.
Really it kills so many of your beautiful brain cells and yet you've still not come up with some spectacular idea.
OH jasmine's pencilbox was on the floor and minggy's eraser was on the floor too.
There was this ang moh (caucasian) pointing at the floor from outside and I thought there was like an army of ants / smth.
So jasmine was just looking down and checking and suddenly she went, "MY PENCILCASE!"
the ang moh was laughing at the stuff that we dropped.
(fyi i don't like her because she looks well, not nice.)
Then the ang moh went, "Oh never mind." (but using hand signs)
Jasmine was like, "Of course nvm la MYYY pencilcase leh!"
Then she took such a long time trying to pick up her pencilcase and minggy picked up her eraser a thousand times faster than jasmine HAHAH.

We decided to play daidi / taiti after a long while of discussing (because we saw the canadian international school boys playing).
AND I WON THE FIRST ROUND YAY MEEE :D
i was going to win the second round, too.
BUT I FORGOT THAT WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO END WITH A DI.

Maybe, a new colour might be found.

& then everywhere I go I hear people saying:

I think I've changed.
Really.
I'm not in those crappy mood anymore, but instead I'm in those thinking, processing and patient mood where I'll sit down & meditate & drink a cup of oolong tea.
I think i've had a personality change.
Not totally like slightly.
But an obvious one.
Last time I used to be superduper kind & caring like wts it's trueeeee.
When people whom I don't even know fall / smth I'll go right up to her & help her up.
Now If i don't know them I'll be like asking myself of their reaction when I help them.
Like I'm actually worrying about what people will think as if that is more important than healing a person's wound.
This will sound like crap but hey I'm suffering a little early-life crisis hereee. & I need it to be sorted out.

& I think I've become more selfish.
I help people freely like I don't expect anything back from them.
Not like, Oh I teach you this question next time must teach me another question.
I don't have one whole list of who owes me how much $ pasted on my wardrobe.
Honestly.
Now I still do that. I still help people w/o wanting things back but what I've changed is.
I used to just give them my personal notes that help them during exams w/o feeling like, angry, or like they're going to do better than me / anything.
Now, rarely, but I do keep some of these things to myself. I mean, I still give them to people, but very few. I still help them with the knowledge.
I also feel the pinch & the anger and this damned selfishness in me when people copy my notes.
I mean duh I let them copy but I feel that... it's-mineee feeling.
& I really don't know why.
I'm not blaming anyone around me but I sincerely think that it's due to the influential surroundings that I'm in.
Like example, secondary school life.
Or should i say, competitive secondary school life where everyone wants the best for themselves.
I came in helping people only to get people turning their backs on me, leaving me in the stupid ditch to help myself out.
I mean like wth. That's what I get. I don't need a 1 for 1 trade, what I need is for people to help me when I need it.
(Altho it's pretty often but that's beside the point.)

I think another reason on why I've become more self-centered is well.
People look down on me.
I don't need fans, I don't need to be idolised.
I need R E S P E C T .
It's like everyone thinks I cannot do it & because of that I want to show them that I can do it.
I came to nanyang having the thought that I'm going to just pass & get promoted every year but due to the tensed atmosphere, the war grounds and the battle weapons I want to FIGHT. I don't want to be a back soldier, where people don't need because the front ones are so trained. I want to show them that I'm capable of something.
& I think that is why, i became somewhat competitive.
I wanted to beat some people.
SOME, if you did notice.
SOME = THOSE THAT LOOKED DOWN ON ME.
Those that they thought they will be better than me.
I don't need to be the top, I don't need to be the head soldier leading the way.
I just want to be the person who gets the orders, be the soldier who at least got acknowledged by the head soldier once.
I hope next year will be a better year.


& I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY BIRTHDAYYY :DDD!
I think I'm getting hyped up today because people are CALLING IN & asking for the things that i LOVE.
Obviously they want to buy me presents HAHAHA but they just don't want to admit it.
AWW my friends are hopeless liars.
HAHHAA but really, really really really I don't need a present.
I promise.
What I need is a call or a message. (I know it also costs but wts it's like max. $5 if you're overseas for just a HAPPY BIRTHDAYYY, RIGHT?!)
I still remember the other time Shi Ying called me on my birthday to wish me happy birthday & to tell the truth yes I was downright shocked.
I mean, everyone sends little sms-es which I appreciate a lot, too but a call!
That's something to treasureee.
The conversation flowed like this:
SY: Hello, may I speak to bernice, please?
ME: Yep.
SY: Err... Happy birthday.
ME: ... ... *momentarily shocked* OHH! (coming to life) Oh yes yes thank you! Thank you so much! (flustered by the fact she actually bothered to call)
SY: Yea ok have a nice birthday ya byebye.
ME: ... BYE!
So just some little wishes here & there, and like turn up for my birthday party :D!

I was actually thinking of going to like, East Coast Park and book those barbeque pits / smth.
I think we have to book, right.
Because people will also want it since 8thdec is also a public holiday.
And then... we can chill out & have some games &...
ERHEM. I really don't want to say this but.
probably minggy can teach me how to cycle.
There there now I didn't say that.
But I think it would be kind of boring just doing that.
Actually y'know my mum wanted to book the Singapore Flyer.
But I told her it'd be boring.
'cos you'll be cooped up in that... what'sthatthingcalled - room? box? cable car??
for approx. an hour.
