My duty was to stand outside the hall (facing the staff room), smile at parents and pri6 students, usher them in.
So I got there & scanned the notice board. Boy, there are many nanyangprimary students intergrating in nanyanggirls. A LOT. While others have 4 or 5 we had 30 - 40 .__. I was stunned. And most of them are people that I know!
Eunice gave me my birthday present! A PILLOW :D Precious moments. VERY ADORABLE & SQUISHY! Hee, thanks Eunice [:
So there was this guy, he came and asked for the whereabouts of the toilet. We (yanni, me and one other psl) directed him but he still did not get it. Then the vice principal (omg) told me to bring him there but I was too immersed in directing him that until she pushed me then I realised I was supposed to bring him there. And it was a very awkward walk. Upon reaching there he apologised and said the sign was very misleading.
I totally agree, I mean it was the Girls sign outside but inside they have both the ladies' & men's.
I think the 2009 sec1s have very loving parents. I am not exaggerating. Oh, not only parents. Grandparents siblings aunties uncles...you name it they've brought them. So I was staring at this family consisting of the sec1 girl, the father & mother, 3 other siblings, the grandma & grandpa. .____. Now I see why the chairs are so filled.
And then there was this parent, asking if either Eunice / me take HMP. Eunice said yeah (wow I tell you the woman must be a wizard / smth) and the woman ASKED HER WHAT IS GOING TO BE TESTED !!! I think my mouth must be gaping like wth that's practically telling the answers! Then she started asking if life in nanyang is stressful etc.
I've counted, during my duty I've directed 8 men to the toilet. There was this man, he asked where was the toilet I pointed he acted smart said okay and he went there.
3 seconds later he came back. Saying he couldn't find it.
I pointed again then his face snaps into recognition and went there.
2 seconds later he came back. He said that was the girls toilet. I said it was BESIDE the girls toilet. He went, "OHH" and went.
1 second later he came back. He said it was staff .__. I told him he could go into the staff.
(he must have wet his pants, with all the running about.)
Later Eunice joined me! Then we chatted talk hah (slacking) and then we directed people 2 times (eh not bad alr) to places hah! :D Later we hid backstage and talk some more.
OH yeah there was this woman she asked me WHY she had to buy books and uniforms now, I told her it's up to her but I was thinking (buy now 'cos later out of stock how). WALAO ohh got some people super smart, mum listen to the talk, then dad quickly go buy books + uniforms. WOAH I TELL YOU, they really do plan their actions. I get bemused just watching them.

I've got a CDC progress award thinggy.
Since young I've been wishing to go up nanyang primary's stage to get nanyang primary's good progress award. But, it never came true D: although in Pri 5 I got the CDC one. I was overjoyed, but I didn't go up stage to receive it D: 'cos it wasn't nanyang's.
Hah, but now I've got another. In P5 I remembered it was $100, now it's $150 hahaha.

In my opinion, the problem lies with parents not having the ability to stand out and talk to their little babies about this particular topic because well, they think it's an uncomfortable subject to approach. Also, kids are curious. I mean c'mon, every human being is curious, we need answers to why we can't reach the Sun.
To us, who have already matured minds, we don't have sexual intercourse because we think of the WhatIfs. For the girls, What if I get pregnant? For the guys, What if I get jailed? Both, If I do this, my future will be ruined. They also know that their parents will massacre them.

But I'm really thrown back by the fact that girls drop out of school to bring up their babies and they truly do have my utmost admiration. Some are married, some are single mothers. But nonetheless, they aren't like some irresponsible people who aborts babies and give up on a life just because they are plain cowards and can't take up challenges. They caused it, they better take care of it. I sincerely utmostly love those girls & guys out there who work their ass off to upbring an innocent adorable child. They are the reason why there are such words like kind and loving.

Another reason which I think why girls are doing it with much older guys is well, because the immature girls are so used to being pampered and loved, so when their parents don't buy them a laptop of their own and these older guys do they wouldn't mind giving those guys what the guys want, too. Hah, call it childish, call it greedy, call it naive. But wouldn't you know it these things happen, and people accept it.
Then maybe you'll ask me if I would.
Heh, seriously?
I'll ask for a Porsche instead.

It's going to be a short post let's start about today !
I forgot I had to attend a Calligraphy prize giving ceremony.
Yeah because my work was chosen to be displayed ya da ya da and I was supposed to go there & collect my cert.
OKAY SO MY FRIEND CALLED ME AT 3.05pm.
And I flustered called a cab prayed that I would get there in time, like omgosh what a fiasco man.
When I went there, as usual they pulled me to the 小学组 primary school section when I am a secondary school student.
Man, they do know how to spoil one's day.
So I had to mumble apologies and tell them that I'm a sec school student.
And the guest-of-honour, again, asked how old I was. He also asked if I was from China ._.
Yiyun's parents were very very sweet and kind, they sent me to hwachong's bus stop :D!
And then as I got down my bus @ my 2nd bus stop, this elderly man came to me, spelled out my chinese name looked at my cert (omgosh yes I was scared O_O) then said, (translated, simply 'cos I'm too lazy to type it out in Chinese) "Good, Calligraphy, you have a bright future!" [you qian tu] .___. Lucky my bus came in time.

Finally, finally, Isaac talked to me.
& as usual, I was the one doing the talking while he "LOL"-ed his way through.
Yeah so I was telling him about all my vented anger and my whole wrecked year.
HAHA okay it's not really wrecked but I'VE HAD A FEW DOWNS.
I mean, it's normal, right?

Idk why I just can confide to him so well that I find myself telling him my deepest secrets w/o feeling like I want to take it back & without spinning up a yarn to hide the truth.

OK so...maths hub was a drag.
It wasn't as exciting as I imagined it would, and it was much more of a bore than my defination of mathshubboring.
Yeah so it wasn't a good time.
& I thought I was smart in maths.

I cannot believe that I lost to this primary 5 guy.
For the first lesson I got 5/16 while he got 16/16.
And he's a PRIMARY FIVEE learning sec2 stuff.
So yeah first day I felt like crying D:
I didn't know how to do most of the questions & I was shocked - no wait - APPALLED that everyone else knew.
I started to kid myself - can I fake ill for two weeks and don't come to maths hub.
Then I planned & planned the whole thing like how I would tell my parents, how I would be happy at home.
But nah in the end I decided that maybe it's time to bring my ego down HAHA.

Yeah so it was a pretty lousy lesson.
I was planning to ask my mum to not let me go to this stupid maths hub.

THEN FOR THE FIRST TIME I WAS SO EXCITED ABOUT GOING TO MATH HUB! :D
but heck, she's coming next tuesday D: HAHA ! One day after my birthday yeah!
But anyway look on the bright side TWO MORE LESSONS and she'll be sitting beside me! :D

WHOOPEE! I can uhm. see.
